I have found that this really does have a lot of useful information, usually the most pertinent information from any given topic. It doesn't cover everything my Mother/Baby class in nursing school covered so I couldn't find information for every topic in here, but what it had, was useful. It covered the major topics atleast. Very good product. Easy to read and understand.

I have used this to review the material in my main course text, especially with finals coming up, and I can say it made a world of difference. Unfortunately, my main course text was about 100 pages longer than it should have due to fluff and repetition so having this to condense all those pages was great. Covered most of the topic areas in my main text so I could see what I needed work on to bounce back to my main book on. Some values and data were slightly off from my main text (or visa versa) but overall, loved it. The Straight A's series actually saved me in pharmacology too!

If your looking for ways to improve your grades in maternal-neonatal nursing this is an excellent source. Your grade will improve after reading this book. For me i found it helpful in passing my exams with higher grades. It comes with a CD for more practice in answering question. I would recommend this book for grade improvement and easy to understand course material. Many of the question will come up on school exams as well as your nclex exams.

I have 2 daughters and found this book while searching for a new story about sisters. The reviews were so good, and the pictures I could see so sweet that I ordered it. When it arrived I read it to myself and indeed my eyes did smart towards the end. But instead of thinking about my daughters I found myself thinking of myself and my 2 older sisters. I related perfectly to the conflicting feelings of the little sister, and to the conclusion in which love for her big sister won out, but she still kept her afternoon alone to herself, something that's hers alone. I adore the illustrations and feel the story is perfectly told for about 3-7 year olds - just enough repetition for new readers, too. I'm impressed with the way it addresses the topic of conflict between sisters, without making anyone the bad guy, or without being obnoxious or shallow. My daughters are still a little too young for this book but I expect it will become a classic in our family. My highest compliments to this author.

This book is so sweet. I have two daughters - ages 2 and 4. I love that it portrays the importance of both the big sister and the little sister. I have always reminded my older daughter to set a good example for her little sister. However, after reading this book, I also remember to point out to my older daughter when her younger sister follows her example, and praise my older daughter for teaching her. I look forward to my little one being old enough to read this book, too!

I didn't like the part of the story where the little sister purposely hides from her big sister. I wont give this to my granddaughters. I dont want to give them any ideas. I'll take it to Goodwill.

Charlotte zolotow is one of my favorite authors of Picture books. The best thing is, that Big Sister learns that Little Sister has likes of her own, and does not need to do everything exactly as Big Sister dictates

I have 5 and 2.5 year old daughters. I got each of them a "Sister" book for chirstmas this year. They both LOVE their books. This book is sweet with a nice little reminder to big sisters who can be a little too helpful to younger siblings. It is old fashioned in its illustrations which makes it simple and sweet.

Helps the little sister see her big sister in a new light, easing her somewhat bad feelings about being overshadowed.

I purchased this book on Amazon without reading it because I had a hunch that it was good. I bought it for my sister who is going through a difficult time (she's the big sister and I'm the little sister). I gave it to her on Christmas morning and she cried when I read it to her. It's just a wonderful message about how sisters can take care of one another. The big sister always took care of the little sister, but when the big sister needed to be taken care of, the little sister realized that she could be there for the big sister, too. I just love this story and highly recommend it to those big and little sisters out there!

This is one of my favorite children's books. It is sweet and wholesome. I have one for my two girls who are now six and nine and my six year old still enjoys having this read to her. I plan to buy one for my granddaughters as I have one and one due in December.

There exists no better electronic structure book, but that's not saying much. I believe Szabo and Ostlund at times make their derivations a bit too complicated, and there book does not have the best organizational structure. Also, the book is conspicuously missing a section on density functional theory. This might have been fine circa 1990, but in the 21st century any introduction to electronic structure theory should include an explanation of DFT. Szabo and Ostlund need to update their book.

This book can be pretty neatly divided into two part: the first three chapters which elucidate the Hartree-Fock approximation, and the remainder of the book which develops refinements of it.After a helpful preface, chapter 1 give us a 38 page mathematical review. Section 1.1 is on linear algebra, and the reader should bring a solid background in this subject to this book. Dirac notation is introduced immediately and used throughout the book. Section 1.2 is on orthogonal functions, eigenfunctions, and operators. Section 1.3 is on the variational method for finding approximate solutions to eigenvalue problems and which find heavy use in quantum chemistry.Chapter 2 is a ~70 page treatment of many-elctron wave functions and operators. This chapter developes all of the machinery necessary for the Hartree-Fock approximation. Section 2.1 introduces the electronic problem in general, discusses (but does not prove) the Born-Oppenheimer approximation and the basic antisymmetry condition for many-electron wave functions. Section 2.2 introduces us to spin and spatial orbitals, Hartree products, and Slater determinants. It then provides with our first peek at Hartree-Fock and introduces the minimal basis H2 model which is used throughout the book as an aid. Section 2.3 is a heavy section which focuses on the evaluation of matrix elements for operators on many-electron wave functions. The contents of this section are absolutely key to the remainder of the book. Section 2.4 is an optional, but very good, section on second quantization techniques for evaluating martix elements. Section 2.5 ends this chapter with a look at spin adapted configurations and unrestricted determinants.(Review to be completed later)

Great great great book for sophomore, junior students in chemistry to begin their journey in quantum chemistry. From basic algorithm, i.e. Hartree-Fock to advanced electron-correlation method, and ended up with Green function method, Szabo finds a fantastic way to organize various materials and illustrate mathmatics.

This is a must read book for quantum chemistry. It is written in a clearly way, and it goes from the very basic to the complex approaches in a very progressively.

Exactly what I wanted and had had no luck at all finding until locating this map company. I will certainly go to ITMB the next time I need an unusual map.

This was a fairly good map of Yemen. I used it during my trip to the country although many times smaller villages and certain roads did not even appear on the map.
