A fantastic book! I watched Amy's video that I found scientific at a very comfortable level (I am a scientist) so I was wondering about the way the book was going to be written. I must say it is written very similarly to how the video presentation went: pure pleasure, not too low and not too high in style and language. Very enjoyable.While I have not yet finished the book, I grab every minute of wait anywhere to read a page or two, so far my overall impression is that this book should be read by all. One need not have a friend or relative with Alzheimer's to be educated about diabetes mellitus (type 2) leading to Alzheimer's and other health conditions, as well as why scientists searching for the cause of Alzheimer's along the beta amyloid plaques are likely looking at symptom, rather than cause, and why most everyone would benefit from a reduced carbohydrate diet.She also explains how diabetes mellitus starts by insulin resistance of each organ separately rather than the whole body at once--this is known to all doctors and scientists (at least I hope it is known) yet still only the A1C blood test is offered for insulin resistance, which doesn't show any problems until insulin resistance is systemic. Amy also explains how important it is to start eating "right" (low carbs) from early age of 20s and 30s because the changes in the brain/body occur so slowly that by the time symptoms appear, it may be much harder to fix or too late. Prevention is the key.I highly recommend this book for everyone who wants to plan a healthy feature with healthy longevity.

I purchased the paperback version of this amazing book. I have to say that I have honestly NEVER highlighted and annotated a book to this extent EVER. Amy Berger guides us through a tour of the root causes of this disease at a cellular and intracellular level. She does a fantastic job of using just the right amount of humor and provides simple visual analogies to help you understand what would otherwise be a complex subject. I was literally coming to points in the book where I was saying "WOW" out loud. I could not wait to share the information with my wife.The real question is...does it work? IT DOES! My mother in law has vascular dementia and has lived in a memory care facility for two years. She is now back home with us due to the poor care she was given and multiple medication errors. Her short-term memory was completely shot and she was often anxious, fearful, and depressed. She was declining fast both physically and mentally at the facility (which started feeding higher and higher carb meals towards the end). We now have her on a very low carb ketogenic diet. We are also adding MCT oil to various meals (titrated up from 1 tsp to 1 tbsp per day over a couple of weeks). After three weeks the depression and fearfulness are gone. The anxiety is greatly reduced. Today she actually remembered one of her caregivers whom she had not seen in 24 hours (she typically couldn't remember at all). Her countenance is also different and more "alive" and "warm". Her sense of humor is back. Her caregiver see's a definite improvement and is now a believer. She assessed her at a level 4-5 prior to this change in her diet and remarked that she would now assess her as a level 3-4.I am so thankful to Amy Berger for providing this very important and extremely well-written book. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be an invaluable learning resource for the millions of families suffering from any of the various forms of dementia (Alzheimer's). GREAT BOOK!

This is an awesome coloring book for all stages of coloring! I love the artwork and the fact that there are opportunities for realistic and fanciful coloring themes!

I think I have most of her horse books plus dogs and cats. Unique style different from any other artist. I do wish she'd be more precise in the conformation of the horses, they seem to be drawn from a photo with often strange shaped rumps, chests or legs. Whereas someone familiar with conformation wouldn't draw it like that. Also the eyes are often "moon" eyed, like the horse is blind. Fun & whimsical but the "off" anatomy isn't appealing.

Finally received my new "Creative Horses & Fanciful Unicorns & Stress Relieving Patterns" coloring book by Cindy Elsharouni yesterday in the mail. Actually purchased 2 of the books, one for me and one for another coloring friend. Both of us just love Cindy's coloring books. The pictures are clear and enticing enough to want to color every single page and then wait patiently for Cindy to produce another wonderful book. I have all of her books and the anticipation of knowing another book is in the works makes it hard to patiently wait for it to be available. Definitely recommend this book and ALL of the other books by Cindy Elsharouni to young and old alike.

Cindy has done it again! This book is absolutely incredible and I will be spending hours making these pages come to life! The way she brings these to life and can capture these beautiful animals on paper is stunning. I have many of her coloring books and each time it seems she outdoes herself which I cant wait for the next one! I have included some of the pictures that are my favorites.

Love the new book! Relaxing and challanging, fabtasy and whimsy, something for all those who color! Cindy always delivers.

I have all of Cindy’s books and I love her horses. A nice range of designs for different skill levels. I’m pretty sure there are 2 designs in this book that are repeats from a previous book though. If not, they are very similar.

My 5th or 6th book of Cindy’s, love them all!! Having a lot of fun with this book

This is a great coloring book for anyone. It has simple images and more intricate. Beginners can start with the easier ones and work up to the more detailed images. I like playing around with color and I also have used some metallic colored pencils in the manes and tails. The only problem I had was the paper starts breaking up with the markers I have. But I prefer using colored pencils. Overall I am very glad I got this.

About the Author

Annie Douglass Lima spent most of her childhood in Kenya and later graduated from Biola University in Southern California. She and her husband Floyd currently live in Taiwan, where she teaches fifth grade at Morrison Academy. If you're looking for a new and relaxing way to memorize and study scriptures from the bible, this book is for you. Use it to practice mindfulness and to fully study the selected verses from the bible. Also includes fun activities for when you just want something easy to do.The word scrambles serve as an interesting exercise to get you thinking. It also includes a weekly planner so it's doing double duty for you. Each day has an interesting holiday on it as well where it applies. Because some of the images are pretty small, you'll likely need a fine tip marker, fine tip pens, or colored pencils for coloring. Puzzle answers are included in the back for your reference. It's clear there was a lot of thought put into the organization of this book and a lot of care was put into making it a rich experience for the colorist.

Coloring scripture verses was fun. At first I wasn’t sure I liked the bubble letters. After coloring them in, I realized they looked quite pretty.While coloring it felt similar to a meditative state which was relaxing. It also allowed me time for quiet reflection. I especially enjoyed working on a word puzzle while listening to an audiobook! The puzzles are a great addition to the book as it is permission (if you need that) to play. One suggestion for future volumes is to alphabetize the word list for the word search!Some ideas inspired while coloring this book:Cross-stitch or embroider a verse of scripture.Discuss and illustrate favorite verses with my kids.Interestingly the first page fit perfectly with my word for the year which added to my enjoyment. I absolutely plan on finishing the rest of the activities in this book. Hope there are more volumes in the future!I received a free copy. This review was written by myself and honestly expressed.

I especially liked the unscramble words. The Hide it In Your Heart in 2019 is a great way to de-stress and memorize scripture and enjoy it at the same time.

I love the planner part. I am very busy and need to keep organized. I'm not necessarily big on the coloring part, but I can see where it would be good for a family. The kids can help color in the pages and do the puzzles. Families can memorize the verses together. Overall, a really great idea and a practical book for every day busy life.

What a treasure this calendar is. Annie has put so much thought into creating not just coloring pages and other activities, but features that are special, thoughtful, and full of encouragement, reminding us of God's loving Word.

Hide it In Your Heart is a unique coloring calendar created by Annie Douglass Lima. There are 53 Bible verses and 24 word puzzles for adults and kids. We found the pages lots of fun to color and there's a variety of pictures to choose from. Some of the details in my picture were almost too fine, making it more challenging than I had expected. Other pictures have less details for the younger ones. Amanda's page was perfect for a 10-year-old and Samantha (age 18) loved her sea themed one! I recommend this calendar for the family. Telemonitoring and corresponding algorithm development is a particular focus area Dr Kubben is involved in, as well as interactive clinical decision support systems.Michel Dumontier is a distuinguished professor of data science at Maastricht University and head of the Institute for Data Science – connecting data science initiatives and projects from all faculties. He is also deeply involved in the FAIR data approach (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reproducible). André Dekker is a professor of clinical data science at Maastricht University and has been leading the development of prediction models in radiation therapy for many years. He is also coordinator of the Personal Health Train project, aiming to facilitate “citizen science”..
